Step-by-step setup

  1. Connect your Fire TV device and complete its Wi-Fi and Amazon account setup.
  2. Check for available Fire TV system updates.
  3. Use Find / Search to locate a compatible, trusted media player in the Amazon Appstore.
  4. Install and open the app.
  5. Sign in to the authorized streaming service or import a permitted media source using the player’s supported method.
  6. Test playback and adjust the app’s playback settings if needed.
